I Fired up my 430 clone a couple of days ago and it has a slight knock to it. Its not Pinging, its a knock My dad didnt notice it but I did and my buddy who came over did. I havent drove it yet Im waiting on the Hooker exhaust. Its only ran for about 5 minutes total. Should I be worried or pissed its real slight and you dont notice it unless you listen carfull. Maybe its still tight, Does it need to break in?

 

It could be a Balnce weigt on the crank hitting the Oilpan.


is it a knock ? does it sound like Rod knock ?


or is it a clicking/tapping ?

Its not a clicking or tapping. It sounds like its coming from the drivers side of the engine and you cant hear it unless you give it a little throttle
