MSD universal wires: boot question

MSD universal wires: boot question
OK, I got my universal wire set today. Obviously the 9 wires have boots on one end. Stupid question: Which end goes where? I'm assuming that the pre-booted end goes on the plug, and the cut/crimped end goes to the distributor.
