Someone answer...Need help...WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay i have a 305 tbi and i just replaced the intake manifold with the edelbrock tbi intake. After completing the job, we were attempting to time it and i noticed that oil was pumping out of the oil dipstick. Has anybody had this experience or heard of anything like this. Anybodys knowledge would be a great help because i have no clue of what is going on. Thanks guys.

If you are blowing oil out the dipstick, you are in for some serious fun. There are a couple possible causes, cheapest is the PCV system is not working, or, perhaps the oil is over filled. Then comes the expensive problems, bad rings....... Check your oil level, and see what it looks like, if that is ok, check operation of the pcv system. If PCV works correctly, do a compression check, test dry first, then add a teaspoon of oil to each cylinder, and test again. If the second test is significantly higher than the first, it is time for a ring job......

Good luck.

Since I'm assuming that this didn't happen before you installed the new manifold, did you make sure all vacuum connections were made? This might've made all the difference.

I'm not a tech, but I this really sounds like a vacuum problem.
