Axle/Gears: Ford 9" 3.55

High Output alternator - please help :)

Does anyone know of a high output alternator direct bolt in for an 88-92 fbody?> MY a1000 fuel pump is killing my alternator because its drawing too much power. SO if you know of a high output alternator Please respond!~ thank you!

You could install a factory 108A alternator, or you could convert your existing alternator with a high output stator and rectifier setup.

I live in Vancouver, I got a buddy that builds only alternators and starters. Im running one of each of his in my car right now, 6 months no problems. My alternator is 180 amps. Awsome prices too. If ur interested, msg me, ill ask him to build ya one. Comes with one year warrenty.
