Too much oil cause heatin up???
Well I haven't changed the oil since I got my 89 RS but i have had some smoking and temperature overheating, Can too much oil cause this? Because i have almost 3 quarts too much in my motor....I am pretty sure that's what this is?
what do you guys think?

change your oil and put the right amount in it. The rods can start to hit the oil and make it foam then you start sucking up an oil-air mix and parts don't get lubed right. It is almost as bad as not enough oil. Change it and put the right amount in or at least drain the oil and take out but for but for 15 dollars go out and get 5qts or whatever of decent oil. It is not gonna kill you.
