383 Buildup....need suggestions

Hello,
I've recently decided to build a non-emissions legal 383 stroker from scratch and need a few suggestions on what you guys think. This engine will run on 92 octane and be streetable, and hoping to make 500hp.

Here's what I've come up with:
-Scat 3.75 Crank
-Forged Rods 5.7in w/ARP rod bolts
-Forged Pistons (9.75:1 CR) w/ moly rings
-World Sportsman II heads,64cc, 2.02/1.60, 3 angle valve job
-Cam with 236/242 duration at .05 inches
-1.6:1 rockers
-Edlebrock Performer RPM intake
-Holly Double pumper, 750 cfm
-Edelbrock Water Pump
-Flex Fan
-True Dual exhaust w/ turbo mufflers and headers
-HEI Distributor (50,000 volts)
-Turbo 350 tranny built to high torque specs

Now, here are my questions:
1) Does those sound streetable and able to run on 92 octane no prob?

2) What size torque converter would work best with this setup?

3) Is the compression ratio alright, should it be higher/lower?

4)For the cam, should the Lobe seperation angle be 110 or 114 or what? and does the cam sound to high of a lift, somewhat rough idel is ok?

5)What size gears should i run in the rear, remember street use mostly?

6)And for the carb, double pumper....mechanical or vacume secondaries?
Or should i just get 2 different carbs, one for street and one for track? If so which?

If you have any other input please let me know, just no nitrous or blowers pleale

Thanks a lot guys, any help is much apperciated

this combo should be alot more "streetable" than the one in my sig my compression is just ****ing insane..for the street!! id say a 2500rpm stall should be adequate. the compression is just fine doesnt need to be altered. if you like the rumblely idle(as i do)...the more the better!! the lift is also fine as long as you acheive at least .100thnds on the intake and exhaust valves. if you r using "puke port rejection"..tuned port, then, use a 112 or 114 lsa. if only if you have a carb or custom burned chip is 110 ok. id run a 3.42 rear gear or possibly 3.73 if you have a 700r4. as for a carb i wont dis or slam holley, but, for holley get a 4150 double pumper carb about a 750 should be quite enough.(may have to re-jet the 750!) always always..no matter what anyone says USE MECHANICAL SECONDARIES!!! and only get 1 carb well tuned and you shouldnt have a problem running this on the street daily! ok i wont suggest juice.....but it would make you grin..ear to ear!!

burnout, very well said. I am running 10.7:1 on the street, uses 93 octane, and I have to back the inital down some, but when 3000 rpms' come around....watch out!
