TFS 23* Heads W/SLP 1.3/4...ANY1 know for sure they will work??
i think i may have a big problem here, when ordering the TFS heads i was never told they were angle plugged...well they just showed up and im pretty concerned the 1 3/4 slp headers i just bought for 550$$ arent gonna clear the plugs or the wire boots
these are goin on a 383. since they are the only 1 3/4 shorties in existance im gonna be at a loss on where to go if they wont clear, except for hooker long tubes maybe? to mufflex y
if anyone has an answer please help me out here

Mine fit fine. In fact I reused my old plugs because they were only a few weeks old. They're regular bosch platinums. I did have to use new plug wires with 90* boots but that was it.

I have the Duttweiler heads and the same slp headers and they work okay. I did go with accel header plugs (a little shorter than standard plugs) as my Delcos were just too close to the headers, especially on cylinder 5. I burned (completely toasted) my first set of wires in less than 200 miles, but now I have protective ceramic sleeves and haven't had any other problems. I had the wires off to send the headers off for coating for extra protection and at 2000 miles they were perfect. These heads and headers are not the best pairing, but with a little extra work and attention to detail they should work out fine. Good luck.
