for you number whiz's

I have the engine I took out of my 82 Z before I dropped in the 400. Just wondering if the old 305 is worth anything.

the #'s on the block are either 14310201 or 14810201 hard to tell and the heads are 14014416

If they aren't worth anything I'm just going to take it to the scrap yard.

Heads are 58cc, 1.84/1.5" valves

So pretty much a boat anchor. I need it out of the way so just seeing if it would be something someone would want or not

if you don't have to pay someone to haul it off you'll be doing good

Yup, just yerbasic LG4 stuff.... it'll have the low-compression pistons, so it's pretty much useless as it sits.

People do sometimes want those heads, but they're usually more trouble to pull off and deal with, than they're worth; being that they're so extremely common and easy to find everywhere.

Not worth a whole lot. ede hit the nail on the head.

That's what I thought I'll throw it in the truck and throw it in the scrap bin at work
