hard starting w/ smoke
hard starting w/ smoke
I have a 89 iroc-z and it has a hard time starting in the morrning, but if you let it sit for a couple of days it starts right up. The motor cranks like a champ but when I finally get it to start after the third or fourth try it blows a cloud of white or blue smoke. Can anyone help me? Could it be loosing fuel presure or is something else wrong?

blue smoke means oil burning, brother.
it could be many things but seems to me that your problen are leaking valves.
as for the hard start it could also be many things as well, timing, fuel mixture, etc.
feel free to e-mail me maybe i can help.
fernando.

third gen muscle power is the only thing that can match the power of flight...
