The green stuff is fine. So is Dexcool, although it strongly tends to find ever leak, no matter how microscopic; it will even seep through places like the paper gasket on the back of the water pump, most thermostat gaskets, etc. Personally I'd use the regular green stuff if the motor isn't completely outfitted EVERYWHERE with better gaskets than the usual paper ones.
I've heard good things about the Toyota coolant, The 'Red' Toyota coolant controls corrosion by using inhibited oxalic acid to keep the rust from ever forming.
The 'Green' coolant controls the corrosion by 'painting' the inside of the engine's metal with silicone particles. Everytime the engine heats up and cools down some of the silicone paint particles flake off - which means you need to replenish the silicone additive every 2-3 years.
I"ve never used it but was going to try it next time I built a new engine.
