i can't find an intake that matches these crazy intake ports on my heads, should i just grind them to match my intake?

Triangles? If I remember correctly the ports on my L69 were rectangles (motor out of an '84 T/A) but they tapered SLIGHTLY at the top.
I ran a Performer RPM intake and it hauled a$$.
Minor port matching isn't a bad idea.
Don't believe all the stuff people say about 305s being junk, the guys that run SCCA American Sedan get 375-400HP from an L-69 305 with a factory spec bottom end, port matched heads (matched to a PerformerRPM)- no other head mods allowed- and a .480" solid flat tappet cam. This is running pump gas with no more than 10:1 compression!
Its not as streetable as stock, but neither is ANY motor making that much power...
Oh, and they keep the revs under 6400 because of the FACTORY CAST CRANK!
I'm in Pines, how's the weather up in Lauderdale?

wow! 375HP from that motor what else did they do? i plan on running a comp cams 256 or 262XE with new push rods, roller tip rockers, valve springs. accel vac advance dist. with edelbrock 600 carb and performer rpm intake with 1 inch carb spacer. hopefully planning on 275-300hp from that setup. I bought the car with a dominator intake on it and just recently pulled everything apart after i think the head gasket finally went. I had to laugh when I saw the intake ports, they matched up so bad with the intake. Do you know if the stock intake lined up even? Oh well back to the grinding board.thanks for your reply

Pi$$ Poor castings, my L98 heads have many the same as yours...
Pull the heads before you get the die-grinder out
