no spark
On my 83 camaro sometimes I will go out to start it and there will be no spark, and if I come back to it alittle later it will start. It does this if the car has been ran to temp and cold. I have a new coil and distributor. I have even tested the ignition module and it was good. What could it be that is causing this?
The motor is a stock 74 350 so there is no computer.
Thank you
Mike

Dont forget that new parts arent always good parts. Check to make sure your getting 12v to the coil when you have a no start condition.

When you had the ignition module tested, was it after the car had been run for awhile or was it cold. The ignition modules will often test good when cold and fail when hot.

Well i let the car sit over night, when i parked the car, it ran. But when i went out this morning the car had no spark.
I dont remember if i had the module tested when it was cold or hot.

Well, I let the car sit over night again, sense it wouldn't start yesterday. So I go out today and it starts right up. Im so confused on what the problem could be. Could it be the pick up coil or the module, or maybe even the whole distributor.
