How Much HP

I have an 1986 Trans Am with the 305ci carbureted and was wanting to add:

1. Edelbrock Performer intake manifold
2. Speed Demon carburetor 650 CFM, Electric Choke
3. Mr. Gasket Carb Spacer
4. FlowTech Maximum Performance Headers shorty-style, 1 1/2 in. primary tubes 2 1/2 in. collectors
5. FlowTech Afterburner Mufflers
6. FlowTech Universal Off-Road X-Pipes
7. K&N X-Stream Air Flow Top (500 plus cfm of air flow)

About how much horsepower do you think that I will be making?

Not as much as you think, without a cam or head change.

1 5/8 headers and a full 3'' exhaust is where you want to start. Then you need to have your heads milled to achieve at least 9:3:1 compression, get an XE256 cam, performer(Performer RPM is much better)intake, and a 650 holley dp(speed demons are rated different and a 650 is prob. to much for your engine). Then you will at least make 260hp or so. The real restriction on the Lg4 itself is the cam and compression remember that. Good Luck.
