What do I need when rebuilding my motor with forged parts?

I'm getting my engine (87 LB9 305) rebuilt with forged parts. I'm just wondering what I should get forged. I figured the pistons and con rods, but what about the crank? Shoud I get a forged one to replace the stock?

Also, does anyone know where I'll get a kit that has everything I need? I'm about to have a look on summit so I might have answered the last bit by the time you get this.

Thanks for your time

Rob

dont bother with a forged crank unless you plan to make 600+ h.p. and 6500+ rpm. good rods are a plus, forged pistons arent necessary for an average engine. hypers are good for a 300 horse engine and less than 150 shot of N2O. but if you plan to run on the bottle in the future, better put the forged slugs in now.
summit sells a good rebuild kit that you can customize to your needs. they also have some knowledgable sales reps working there, and they can help you put a combo together that will work for you.

i just bought a rotating assembly from this guy. He will cut you a deal on shipping if you get it all at once. And he has good prices on individual parts.

But, if your going to go to the trouble, get the max cubes you can. Minimum 383.
