OKay, New steering cloumn in, but you were right... windshield wipers don't work
I can't remember who it was that said I would have to rewire the windshield wipers.
I just replaced the steering column in my '86 Camaro with a column from an '83 camaro..
How do i rewire the windshield wipers???
The '83 column has 4 wires, my old '86 column had 5 wires.

Get a stalk from an 84-up.
82 & 83 in most GM cars was specific to those years. An 84-up stalk will operate 2001 cruise.
