Throttle Blades
Throttle Blades
I had someone mash the gas pedal all the way down while I checked throttle blades. It seems that they open almost all the way except that I can still push them open a little more with my hands pushing on the linkage all the way till you hit a stop.Should they go all the way to the stop by just pushing on the gas pedal? And if so what can I do? Thanks for any info.

When you mash the gas all the way to the floor, the throttle blades should be "lying flat" on the TB bore. (all the way open) If not, you may want to replace, or attempt to adjust your throttle cable, they do stretch over time. (also, I do not believe there is any adjustment provisions on these, so, you will have to come up with something...)
