Steering column fiasco
Steering column fiasco
I just replaced the steering column in my '86 Camaro with a column from an '83 camaro..
Now the windshield wipers don't work. Somebody said i would have to move some wires??
How do i rewire the windshield wipers???
The '83 column has 4 wires, my old '86 column had 5 wires.
I need to pass an inspection and this wouldn't be good. I would REALLY appreciate any help any one could give me.

You need to transfer the wiper switch from the old to the new. Pain in the butt job. have to take most of the column apart.
