how can i rig up a coil myself ??

how can i rig up a coil myself ??
my car turns but it down start ...i think its not sparking...and also i got a question about where to put the wire from the vaccuum distributor ? there are 2 one black and one white and they both go into the same connector..

350 bored 30 over ..882 casting heads ..comp cam..hooker headers.. 700r4 corvette servo .. 3.73 and SLP posi no hood on the car , holley 750 CFM, performer RPM intake.. and umm couple other things here and there
