What lubricant to apply on T5 splined input shaft

Transmission: T-5
What lubricant to apply on T5 splined input shaft

New motor goes in over the next week and wanted to know what to put on the T5 trans
imput shaft. I would imagine you should not
apply to much or it will end up on the
disc/pressure plate surface.

Right, just a light smear of some sort of grease; synthetic, or white lithium, or moly, or other high-quality non-fiber stuff.
