The solenoid controls the EGR's movement? Can this cause a low RPM bog/hesitation? How can I verify that the EGR solenoid is good and is working? Are they expensive? How can I eliminate the EGR (without tearing off the plenum) to see if it's causing the hesitation problem...disconnect and plug the vac lines that go to the solenoid?/EGR?. Would the solenoid set a code if it were screwed?
Thanks for all your help, this problem has been killing me for over a year now. Car runs great otherwise and has a steady idle..it's just past idle that's the problem and up to 1900rpm or so.
Please help me.
