Bad ECM?
Bad ECM?
For a while now I've had a problem with the fuel pump not energizing when the key is turned on and I'm getting a code 54.
Today when I got home I noticed the temp was at 220 and starting to climb.
I noticed the fan wasn't running.
Now when I turn the key "on" the fuel pump energizes but the fan won't run.
Is my ECM going bad?

Try the relay, the inblock switch, and the wiring harness of the relay. I just spent 300 bucks to replace the relay and the wiring harness which was tempermental. Your fan shouldn't come on when the key is turned on, only when the car is over 224'.
Mine had been wired up to run all the time.
I've replaced the relay a while back but it didn't do any good.
Seems odd that now the pump will energize though now that the fans won't run.
