I took my engine into the machine shop today. I chose to get the Speed Pro forged pistons that regester 9.6 to one compression ratio with a 64cc heads. I am having the Edelbrock heads ported and pollished my total comp ratio should be arround 10.2 to one after surfacing the head and the block deck. I am ordering the Eagle SIR forged steel rods, I have a 4 bolt block and a factory forged steel crank that will be ballanced. I am putting my lt4 hot cam in it. For induction I have a TPIS bigmouth,TPIS large tube runners,TPIS ported plennum, TPIS 52mm thottle body.

My question is how well do you guys think this combo will run or have any of you guys done anything like this. let me know your results.

Other car is a 89 GTA w/700r4w/stage 2 shift kit, corvette servo, B&M mega shifter, TPIS bigmouth intake, TPIS large tube runners, TPIS 52mm throttle body,Edelbrock ported centerbolt heads,LT1 24# injectors,GMPP LT4 hotcam,CompCams Pro magnum roller rockers,Edelbrock headers, flowmaster crossflow muffler,MSD 6A, accell coil, bosch platnum plugs, this car is currently under rebuild and restoration.
