How much do T/A's weight???

Hey people,

I have a fully loaded 86 Trans Am 305 TPI and I always thought that the car weighed around 3600 lbs, but yesterday I took a look at the sticker in the door and it said 4200 something lbs! Are our cars really that heavy???

Can somebody clear this up for me please or tell me the adress of the site with TA specs...

-Max

-'86 Trans Am WS6
-305 TPI with a dying 700R4
-All stock until I fix all the problems

4200 is GVW, thats the total you are supposed to be at before the tires blow and the springs and shocks collapse

Seriously, that number is with passengers and stuff.

Mine is 3640, I have a fully loaded 86TA.
