ET gains of 6 speed
ET gains of 6 speed
Can I expect any ET gains with a t-56? I've heard they're geared a little differently so you can go longer in 1rst gear.

Yes, the 94+ T56 has a 2.66 first gear, while the T5 has either a 2.75 or 2.95 first gear. I really doubt you'd gain any ET just from switching transmissions. The T56 is heavier than the T5, and the lower first gear actually hurts. What you gain is strength.

Slightly different gear ratios with an extra OD. If you cross the finish line in third gear then why need the extra gears and weight??
That's why I got rid of the 700R4 in favor of a TH350. Better gear ratios, lighter weight, less moving parts and cheaper parts.
