lt1 build

how do you think this engine would do in an 84 z28?

97 LT1 carbureted with a 750 carb, LT4 hot cam, headers, and otherwise all stock. it would be in front of a built th2004r trans and 3.23 gears.

do you think it would outrun a LS1 SS camaro?

do for what? most likely it won't out run a ls1, but then again PK beat a 302 mustang with a iron duke f body.

I wanna hear about this one... he couldnt have been stock... or the mustang wasnt running properly lol. Build up sounds better than stock, probably not outrun a stock LS1. I am not sure, but didnt the SS's in 4th gen get superior suspension components? That would be your downfall.... old '84 suspension that's worn, compared to 98+ superior suspension (superior except if it's vs a IROC/Z I think)
