knock retard??

im running hooker LTs, and mufflex y pipe, and a hi flow Rand. Tech cat and nuthing else right now.
i have a new heated O2 sensor, new plugs (though they could have fouled, they ran under rich conditions for a week or 2), 6 month old MSD wires, OLD cap and rotor (but i had no problems before the header install)

i had a clearance issue with the headers and the knock sensor and eventually broke the ceramic? tip off and elec taped the wire to the sensor....could this cause trouble with acceleration? whenever i acc med to hard it seems to go and hold back and go and hold back repeatedly (like hitting the governor repeatedly ONLY QUICKLY)
it also happens when i hit a hard bump.
could this be the knock sensor?
i thought it may be the low backpressure and put my CAT on, and it didnt help, and i thought maybe it needed a new O2 sensor, and i put a new heated one....

LOST...pleez help
thanks for ANY input you may give
