AC delete worth the money?

I have been thinking about getting a AC delete unit for my car. My air conditioner is not in use, i have taken everything out except the pump, so its kinda there for no reason. Are they worth the money? or should i just leave the AC there. Also where is a good place to get one?

Since you've removed everything else except for the AC compressor (I assuming that's what you meant by "pump"), I don't see any reason to keep it. Just get the AC delete pulley (part number 10055890) and be done with it. It's worth it if you want to completely get rid of the AC, and of course it frees up a little room (why I did it). The only places you can get the AC delete pulley is from a GM dealership or a place like www.gmpartsdirect.com .

The delete pulley will clean up you engine bay and allow you to use the stock belt.

to kinda get things stirred up a bit, i ran across some literature from one of our company's (advance auto) suppliers. it appears there is a company that is getting ready to make ac delete pulleys for a bunch of different kind of cars. i'll keep you guys updated if i find out more (like availability and price).
