305 question
i have a 1984 camaro with a 305 and a 1984 k10 pickup with a 305. what differances if any are in the two engines.....is the one for the truck different than the ones in the camaros?

Truck engines tend to have more aggresive cam profiles "of course its not aggresive enought to claim major hp. Truck 305's run 30 more hp than stock cars and have higher tq. The heads on the trucks are 58cc but they are a little better than the cars. Basicly they are the same engine truck engines are just built up a little better.SSC
