EGR

do i need the egr? i dont have any smoge stuff and heard about taking the egr out is this a good idea and how do i do it just yank it out?

No you don't need it. Yes your service engine soon light will come on. Whether the computer will change anything due to this I don't know. Make sure you plug the huge vacum leak you now made in your manifold.
