burning oil /rings
hey guys i have an 88 305 motor with 70k miles on it, i have brand new SR torquer heads and a new performer intake, when i start it it doesnt puff any smoke, after a few minutes on fast idle it'll blow some light blue smoke, but not really that noticeable, if you open it up it'll blow light blue smoke and downshifting it blows smoke, i checked the pcv valve and its working fine, when i changed the heads the cylinder walls werent chewed up or nothing and there was barely a ridge at the top, i pulled all spark plugs and #5 and #4 are fouled with oil, all the rest are ok, so i did a compression check and while turning over, the #5 shot oil out of the hole on to the header... any comments on that? also the compression check is about 150 on all cylinders, could the rings be stuck on these pistons? the engine makes no noise and has a lot of *****, what about an engine flush? or transmission fluid in the oil? i dont wanna pull this motor again, i just wanna drive it. thanx
