i know its not a power adder but i have a heater core question
hey i got a 91 camaro Z28 i have to replace the hater core in it i was just courious if their is any easier way to do it without having to take out the whole dash i have my engine out also so i dont know if that will help me any.

If you use the board's SEARCH feature, you should find several threads on the topic.
There is no need to remove the entire dash, nor the dash pad, to replace the heater core. Removing the dash pad is not that difficult, however, and allows for pretty easy access to the core case screws. Still, it can be done without removing the dash pad.
One not of caution is that you match the replacement core to the original if you can. The angle of the pipes is fairly critical, but there seems to be some wide variation in tolerance when these are assembled. If you match them to your core, you should have fewer problems reassembling.

If you've ever done it on most other vehicles, especially a ford you'll find it about the simplest heater core you've ever done. If you've never done it before... well, it sucks just because of the location...
