Okay my friend's neighbor still has that 1993 Trans Am for sale. It's got 70,000 miles, new exhaust and brakes, professional tint, unknown transmission (i'll ask right now and post followup when i find out). The engine has been rebuilt, which could mean the car was severely ragged on. He was asking $8000 but nobody has bought it yet. I know htat price is extremely steep for a 93 TA. I was thinking of offering $5000 to $6000. What do you guys think? I mean, the engine was rebuilt! That means something had to go wrong with it, right? What tells me it won't happen again? And I dont want to appear rude and try to tell him his car isnt worth as much as he'd like.

Any mods and addons return like, pennies on the dollar. So i'm not going to pay an extra $500 just because he has a kenwood stereo. Or a $300 because of his new exhaust. Or $100-200 because of his brakes. Right?

 

Just informed that there is 70k miles on the REBUILT engine. Odometer is far beyond that! Unknown amount of miles total. Is this car even worth checking out? It prolly has more miles than my car!
