Need Input on using a 96 Vortec fuel pump on my 86 TPI?

Engine: 383 Stroker
Transmission: 700R4
Need Input on using a 96 Vortec fuel pump on my 86 TPI?
My fuel pump bought the farm last week. I read in car craft that the 96 vortec truck fuel pump could be used as a replacement. has anybody tried this? I bought one yesterday and the part number is 25163473. How much PSI is this fuel pump cabable of? what is it rated at? How many pounds per hour? Does Walbro sell in Canada?
Please help I want to get my car back on the road.
