CB valve cover questions...
Hi all,
I would like to know has any one been able to fit CC Pro Mag RR 1.6 ratio under a set of CB valve covers? If the "baffels" must be removed is there any down side to this? I hope that they fit under stock covers, any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks GTA........

They will fit but you must sandwich the support brackets where each lifter might touch. This is how I got my buddies to fit but I only reccomend this never cut supports for you might develop leaks.

zdrag,
thanks for the reply, could you be a little more specific in describing this also if you had a pic or a diagram that would really clear things up, thanks GTA.....

The baffle under the PCV grommet in each one, is too wide to fit between the rockers. You have to squeeze it down some.
Some people also report that the bolt tube thing is too wide too, and has to be squeezed to make room. I don't know for sure whether you'll need to do that or not. But if the rockers touch ANYTHING as they move, they will make clattering noises, like one is out of adjustment; except that it will be quiet with the VC off, and no amount of adjustment will cure it.

I got my factory valve covers to fit, but I had to squeeze the baffles a little as mentioned before. I also had to cut the brace on one side of the stand-offs. I was afraid it might leak afterwards, but it's been abt 8K miles now, no leaks yet..
