Fuel pump not coming on...

My 91 rs 305 sat for about 6 months, i cranked it every other week or so, but as of the other day, it will not start.

The fuel had been on almost empty (1/8th of a tank) and last time i tried to crank it the fuel gauge is reading full. I checked all the connections(that did not require dropping the tank), then went to test the pump....but there is no pin-g in the aldl harness...the wire is completely gone, not pulled out, not cut, but like it was never there.

I am assuming that it is a problem with the wiring or with one of the connections at the top of the tank since the guage is not reading as well. how would i check for voltage at the harness right before the tank( the part coming from the back seat area).

thanks

Relays and fuses is what I would check first. Fuel pump relay is on the drivers side firewall (at least it is on my V6). There is also a inline fuse on the fuel pump i believe, forgot which AMPerage it is. You can test the inline fuses by simply tugging on them a lightly. If the wire slips out, the inline fuse blew and you have to replace it.

nm...im getting voltage to the harness right before the gas tank, so i guess it may be the connection at the fuel pump since the guage doesn't work either...i hate dropping these tanks....
