First...thanx OneEyedJack for the title hope you dont mind but i am looking at a 90 camro v8 that runs great has a rebuilt engine, well maintained has tint alarm tilt cruise but has small body damage. proly needs the work done on that and a paint job but is asking 2100 will offer no more than 2000 do you all think its worth it???

Take it to a shop, see what it needs. Do an engine compression Check. That way, you'll be able to talk him even further down with every lil thing.. Unless he's completely solid on it. V8? 305 or 350? Rebuilds are great... if the person knew what they were doing Take it for a spin & see whats goin on i paid just over 5000 for mine but it was in immaculate condition
