Hey welcome to the boards - I don't think he meant to close your post when he moved it but I started this one to reply since I'm bored anyway.

You have a sweet car to start with, especially with the 5.7. I'd say to hit low 13's or 12's go with heads, cam, and possibly superram if you're not there yet. Browse these boards and soak up as much info as you can. I don't remember if you had an auto or manual, but if it's auto you can get a 2800-3200 stall or so vigilante converter to really wake up the drivetrain. Add to that a few suspension mods and a decent head/cam package and you should be in the low 13's at least. My advice is to plan the whole thing before you start - enough other people have experimented with pretty much everything out there so there's no need to waste money on things like an airfoil or msd 6a box unless those things are in your plan. Welcome aboard and good luck!

1 3/4 Headers, a good torque converter (yank, pro torque or vigilante), and a nice 150 shot of nitrous. Oh yeah and some good tires.
