I just got a reman engine for my car (86 TA 4BBL Auto)

I had a week to do it since my timing chain broke, I had 181.000 miles on him (Tito Jackson) and said what da hell I'm up against the wall $2150.00 with 2 year 24,000 warranty.
Car works great starts up much better than before. everythings great!
But, they took out all smog/A.I.R system unpluged the charcol canister Check engine light just blarin away(took me 1 year to get it off) can't read any codes, But car runs great.

I want to put all things back in my car so it can be STOCK and also, so I can use my 1986 PONTIAC FIREBIRD\TRANS AM Service Manual and find things

I just purchsed on EBAY the A.I.R/SMOG, ECM, hoses, sensors.
Does any one have pictures of the 305 engine with all the stuff on so I can put it back where it belongs?

Or a site that has that stuff?

I just need to see where it goes so I can put it back

i don't know of any site. But the GM dealer should be able to print off a exploded view of the front area of the engine. They have always been nice when i requested it.

 

Buy a manual from you local parts store, has a decent diagram of these things. Should have one anyways...

This exploded diagram is for a LG4 engine.

It that's a factory service manual then it's a valuable reference tool for repair/restoration work.
