Is it worth my time and money to put in a l98 tpi vette motor with aluminum heads, and a t-56, all stock stuff, or would I be better of spending that time and money on my factory 305 tpi motor and t-5. Hp wise is there really that much differance between a 305 and 350 tpi of roughly the same year stock. Any info helps

 

There's a great difference in HP/TQ from the 305 to 350. But it's not insurmountable. But remember, anything that you put on the 305 to gain ponies, would be even more ponies on a 350. Going from a TPI engine to a TPI engine should make your life a lot easier. I say go for it
