Valve Cover Interference

What has everyone else done when using tall valve covers and a non-serpentine belt system. The alternator bracket will hit the valve covers? There is barely enought clearance with the stock valve covers. Here is the bracket I am talking about:

14.70 at 94.1 mph
Solid Roller Minirammed 377 waiting to be installed

Thats the AC bracket FYI

I lost that bracket about 70,000 miles ago, never did put it back on the car.

Take it off, hurl it in any open direction so you don't destroy anything and forget it was ever on there Even though it was put on there for a reason, it looks like it can be safely deleted.

That's what I was thinking. It looks that by the other support brackets for the AC that it should be strong enough without it.

Anyone else want to help with my other problem https://www.thirdgen.org/messgboard/...ML/003468.html
