On a stock 350, from the mid '80's(stock manifolds, intake, Q-jet, and cam) from idle to 4000 RPM ?
L05 heads, or what ever heads came on a 350 truck motor in the early to mid 80's (416's??)

gess i dunno about the 80's but i know vortec heads make some good torque
LO5 heads will. They are swirl port heads but they make really good power when cleaned up. Many of us are quick to downplay any type of swirl port but recent data has shown they can be made to work. Check out this thread for factual confirmation.
Garage ported 193's
Here is great thread that covers all apsects of swirl port heads in detail.

Mellings CL-MTC1 cam kit with L05 heads will light the world on fire with low-rpm torque. Well almost! You can find a factory intake to fit with a Q-jet from a 1987 camaro LG4 or a Caprice, some step vans and full size vans used them too from 1987-1988.
