Seems to me that the older an engine gets, the better time it is to replace components.. heh

My car had a 104k and was bone stock when I bought it. If you check out my signature, I have messed with everything except the motor internals and trans. I am upgrading everything to the level I want to prepare for mucho horsepower. I don't think that our TBI motors are worth messing with internally. Probably would just finish it off if I messed with cam, heads and such. But my suspension mods have worked out real well and my headers and exhaust will work on new motor as well my dual snorkel + tbi mods.

Well you can go ahead and get new exhaust and headers, because if you plan on putting in a new engine they will bolt right up.

You can't polish a turd. I'm kidding. Mine only had 38K on it when I bought it and has been a never ending battle. If you ask me, make it as fast as you can. If it blows up, replace it with something bigger.
