BROWN COOLANT
My water pump is making some noise so i check the rad, its brown, what gives. it doesnt really over heat 220-230

Have you been changing the coolant every 30000 miles. Checking it every oil change? Rust.

change the coolant, flush it well, and keep an eye on it. drain and refill the radiator a couple times before you flush until the water comes out clean. Remove and flush the coolant jug. Stuff like that. Sounds like rust to me unless someone's been adding orange dexcool coolant, a no-no to mix with green coolant!
