To Synthetic or not

Hey guys, me and my uncle are having an arguement about weither or not to use Synthetic Oil, i think you should cause it protects the engine better (especialy high perf ones) and cause it has less friction, He says you shouldn't for wutever reason, Does anyone have any real experience or facts or anything to add to this arguement,

The whole synthetic vs. conventional argument has been beaten to death on this site. Synthetic is better. Check the archives for all the wonderful details.
