are there different serpentine brackets

just a quick questine that i have about the serpentine set up. i bought a set up off of ebay last year and now i am in the process of installing it on my motor. the problem that i have is that the bottom holes on the block line up but the holes on the heads dont. they are about a 1/4" off. the heads are AFR 180's so they are not stock. the guy told me that the serpentine set up was off of a bird. i only tried the passenger side bracket so i dont know if the driver side is going to line up either, so my question is are there different set ups (for example is the pickup truck set up different that the f-body set up) casue i am stumped on this one. my friend has a set up off of a 89 iroc and his altenator bracket is different than mine. any help would be really great.
