did any Camaro's come from the factory with aluminum bumpers instead of the heavy steel? if so, are there any common models, or are they extrememly hard to find in the junkyard?

As for hoods, a hood off a crossfire z28 of the early years was made of fiberglass, but really isn't much lighter than the steel one I replaced it with.

 

the plastic is the bumper cover, the bumper is under the plastic. i weighed a front bumper once, about 35 pounds on my bathroom scale.
