Anyone know how to look up GM tool numbers?
Anyone know how to look up GM tool numbers?
I've been reading through my service manual on how to work on my steering and suspension geometry, and throughout most of the book are what look like GM tool part numbers (j33093 for instance... it helps align the relay rod). I tried a search on Google and on here to try to find them, but I came up empty. So does anyone know where to find these tools or how to convert the GM numbers to say Craftsman or the like?

I was wondering the same thing. When I couldnt get my snap ring for my servo cover on, I found in my Helms manual a special tool just for this purpose. So I went to all the local car parts stores, and they didnt know. I was gunna go to the local dealership, but they were closed that day. I ended up going home and getting it done anyways though.
But for future reference I would love to know this too!
