My uncle gave me an 84 F150 Manual 2WD 300-6:
Before pic..

After pic is still in progress..
Anyway, here's the problem, I turn the key, and nothing happens, no horn, no courtesy lamps, no turn signals no nothing.
I've got power at the battery, and past the fusible links to the alternator. I have a brand new Wells voltage regulator and a new pigtail.
The Starter relay has two big poles hot and ground, the ground goes to the starter, the hot comes right off the battery. (there are two wires on this terminal aside from the hot batt. cable, they head to the alternator.) And then there's the 12v switch pole that engages the starter, and if I jump it, the starter will engage.
Any clue what's going on here?
I'm gonna try to hotwire the ignition tomorrow as a last resort, but that should be fine.
My cousin parked the truck when it blew a head gasket, and he said it would turn over then, I get the truck, and it won't do a damn thing.
I pressure washed the engine bay BTW, and I did finish off a couple corroded wires, which I have now repaired, but still nothing.
And another thing. The truck has an EEC, but it appears that a non-computer carb has been swapped in, hence the 3.7 million pigtails not plugged in to anything.
I drove this truck a year ago and it did run ok, but now, it's really starting to **** me off, need some help..

Start hunting for more corroded wires and terminals. Gotta be a broken connection somewhere.

Have you checked your fuses? Sure you have but just to double check... I would probably take a DMM and trace the voltage to see where it dissapears. If the horn and light all don't have power I don't think it's anything with the starter relays and stuff. Just my two cents. ~Arnold
