Rod Bearings

Not exactly Thirdgen related but perhaps someone could help.

I have a 1990 S10 4x4 parts running truck with a rod knocking. It has a 262 V6 (4.3 Liter).

Found a set of Chevy 350 rod bearings on Ebay for $20.

Is it possible to use 5.7 Liter V8 rod bearings on a 4.3 Liter V6?

Nevermind. After a good bit of searching I found the 262 V6 has a 2.25" journal and the 350 V8 is 2.10", so they are not compatible.

i had a dumbass sales guy at jegs 11th ave store sell me a set of SBC rod bearings for a 4.3 because he "thought" they were the same. the mains are as are the cam bearings and most other parts, but not the rod bearings, or the rods for that matter, 5.94 length.
