Ignition questions

My car wount start.
I got fuelpressure, and the injectors do open ( fuel on spark plugs ).

Is there some way I can crank the engine ( test for sparks ), and NOT flooding the engine with fuel? Is disconect the fuelpump enough?
And can I use a timinglight on no1 spark wire to se if I got spark? Or must I take out the sparkplug and hold it against the metal fram and watch for spark?

Thanks

You can remove the injector fuses from the fuse panel in the passenger compartment. IIRC, they are marked INJ1 and INJ2.
